GT4 was decent with all driver aids turned off. If its at least that good they'll have done a good job. Add in the damage and other new stuff and I'd buy the game for sure.

Im hoping its even better in its feel, unlikely but fingers crossed. I shall be looking at the wrc level delta integrale and dodge viper for comparison as those are the cars I remember best from gt4.
I saw an integrale yesterday on the street, unmistakable even now.


What level will the cars go upto, le mans cars?
 
Ill bet my whole system this game blows GT4 out of the water from a sim and particulary racing perspective...

No way that 300+ physics engine is doing nothing to enchance the game uh ahhhh.

TBH would not take much to blow GT4 away :) but your right FM2 will set the benchmark for all console sim racers.

As much as i love GT4 & the GT series, i'd never take that bet!

Absolutely fantastic games in thier own times & rights, but like you said, all being "right" and well, Forza 2 should blow it out of the water!
 
Another thing anyone thinking they will slap on a wheel jump in the Enzo or other very high powered RWD car with all driving aids off and just pick up the game within two corners is in for a real shock.

I actually expect this game to be damn tough, particulary on the wheel.

I sadly can't justify the cost and don't have the space for a wheel so will be on the good old pad, but i'm hoping i'll spend my first few corners in the dust thinking "Wow, that really WOULD happen"

Its going to be very very interesting come 8th of June :)

Either they're aking thier time testing it, got it late, or are just enjoying it so damn much they forgot to actual run the hardcore code tests!!
 
Basically, Turn 10 will be told by Microsoft when they plan to release it, so until then we can just forget about a demo and resume our normal lives.

I do think Turn10 knew more than they were letting on about the demo release date and left people to get worked up.Some of the members on the official forza forum are not very happy and want blood. :)
 
Mr Latte, you'll have to let me/us know how the playseat works out for you. Just had a look at them and notice they offer full Logitech G25 support (for the shifter) so I'm tempted as I could use it both for forza 2 and lfs. Seems a little pricey, but if the quality is there, I'm game :)

EDIT: To be clear, I know the G25 won't work with forza 2, so I'll end up with 2 wheels :P

Yeah i will do a good review on it with lots of own pics ok...
Its not expensive if you compare it with the game racer or many others.

I think if you do a search you might still find a thread i done comparing many of them. Search for playseat...
