Well I was all set to get the Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD3R however, the Bloodrage GTi is about the same price.

I'll be getting a i7 920 and 6gb ram hoping to get 4Ghz overclock at some point.

What would you go for?

Personnally I'm leaning towards the Bloodrage GTi which ofcourse isn't good for my bank balance as I was just gonna upgrade to an i5 750 setup before.

So why has this bloodrage board convinced you to go i7? is it really that good?!

Well the X58 were all about £200 were as I could get a good P55 mobo for about £150. I had wanted to get an i7 setup but was putting it off due to the high price.

ive heard people having problems with the foxconn boards

where? There's a big rumour doing the rounds about foxconn lga1156 sockets in p55 boards but i've yet to see evidence of people having issue's / rma'ing boards. Even if they do it could be just one run of sockets from one of the industries largest OEM producers.

Other than this I haven't found foxconn any different from other top tier brands tbh.

aegis panel software hasn't been done for win7 64 yet - bios is a better tool for OC anyway.

bloodrage is upto bios p09, there's also some beta around. Afaik started at p03 and included a 6 and an 8.
