managed to grab this mobo pretty cheap from a friend who used it for about 4 hours an then decided he couldnt be bothered havin a pc setup for gaming (fool!!! lol), he decided to update the bios for this board with his q6600 to the latest one on the site released in 09, i bought the board and put my processor in which is a q9550, booted up, crashy crashy lock up bsod, didnt get as far as the windows loading screen before i got the bsod, so i re-booted and got a different bsod saying my memory was at fault, it turns out the latest bios revision for this board does not enjoy working with the q9550 2.8 quad core and it throws up random bsod error codes saying my pcie is faulty, my ram is faulty, and so on, i ended up with about 12 different error codes, had to put a dual core in it to downgrade the bios then i put my q9550 in and it worked! so...for anyone who thinks about buying this 775 board and chip, do not update the bios!
