FPA Day - managed to spin off a porsche etc

I've never done a corporate day at Bedford, but have been fortunate enough to have tested a full race spec FPA car, which has much wider tyres, more horsepower, and no traction control unlike its corporate equivalent (my quickest time round the West track is a 66,8) and also done a fair bit of running in the JP1 (75,6).

The JP1 is a great machine, and the sequential box is fantastic... not entirely sure what problems you can have with it! It very, very occasionally engages a false neutral on upshift, but otherwise it's a fantastically balanced car. If you think the brake pedal was stiff in that, in an FPA car, you can jump on the brake pedal and still not be close to locking up until the car slows down sufficiently that you lose aerodynamic grip.

FPA car: :)
