i doubt it be better than my evga supernova, but is this a good power supply? Seen a boxed one with unregistered warranty on Gum for £40...

thinking of building my cube 1155 system whether I can sell it or not and so far I’ve seen a HX520w for £20 or this one, so I wonder if this one is actually any good?.

It's old cheap design with cheap capacitors. 80+ Bronze tells that straight away.
I mean 80+ Gold PSUs appeared first time nearly decade ago...

Not that Corsair HX520 is any more modern overall.
Design and capacitors are better, but it's still awfully dated design and no doubt old, because HX520 and HX620 have been replaced in line up very long time ago.

Ah okay then probably not worth the punt then, want to leave my gold rated supernova as a spare in case I ever do decide to build a proper gaming system, I just want something decent to add a decent graphics card to that u could test out and if I decide to sell on like I tend to do then I got something decent.
