Fractal Terra owners, what CPU/cooler are you using?

Currently gathering parts for my first build in a couple of years and went with the Noctua NH-L12Sx77, I understand its going to limit GPU thickness but I don't really game a lot so leaning towards CPU temps and noise with the fan being under the heatsink.

There are plenty of good 2 slot cards still. I have the inno3d 4070ti super in my ghost s1 and I am always amazed at how well it games

Im planning to pick up either a 5070 2-slot or once they are released maybe something like yours used once the new cards drop. Do like the look of founders cards so shouldn't be too much of an issue. I am just hoping if its super close to the side panel that it doesn't get the same noise issues seen when having the CPU cooler fan close to the side panel.

Was it yourself that built the Terra with the ProArt on the YouTube channel linked in your signature?

Yes mate, that is my youtube channel. If you push the GPU up to the side panel you will also get turbulence. If I get chance I will try and simulate the 77mm clearance needed on the CPU side to see how much GPU clearance you have. I have the L12 ghost edition cooler but thats only 66mm high

That would be amazing if you could simulate that and have an actual real world measurement of how much space is left. Seems only a true slot card would work but if a 2.5 slot could squeeze in that would give a lot more options.

What was your experience of the proart cards?

Going to take a look now for you.

Pro-art has been amazing, got it on launch for about 900 and pretty glad I bought it over founder. It is so compact I have managed to fit in a number of small ITX builds. Temps have been great and it runs quietly.
