France - monthly rail ticket??

Hi all,

Quick question to see if i can get more info than what the web is telling me.

If i go to Paris for a few months, do they do a rail pass / bus pass that you pay once for and use when you need? or is it the 10 ticket system or nothing?

We were looking at diong this, after talking to a mate in germany about how much the train costs we ended up looking at:

Seemed very chaeap for a months worth of train travel in europe, not sure how their 1 country only tickets compare price wise but might be worht a look
