Frank Lampard you naughty boy

Jedward have each ordered a 458 Italia?? Surely there should be some sort of law stopping annoying Irish people with really spikey hair ordering machines such as this?

Reason I've not had a TV license for 3 years, or purchased any music for as long as I can remember. Celebrity culture needs to die.

That being said, someone I've worked with in the past has just got his 458, and he's also a scumbag.

Very nice car tho.

It's there money, they can do what they want.

It's pretty much the reason why modern supercars aren't cool, because tossers like Lampard and jedward have them.

You won't see jedward driving a 288GT0 or F40/F50.:D

Reminds me of the scene in Gone in 60 Seconds in the Ferrari dealers:

Roger the Car Salesman: My name's Roger, Sir. May I be of some help?
Memphis: That's funny, my name's Roger... Two Rogers don't make a right.
[laughs]
Memphis: Roger, I have a problem...
Roger the Car Salesman: Yes?
Memphis: I've been in L.A. for three months now. I have money, I have taste. But I'm not on anybody's "A" list, and Saturday night is the loneliest night for the week for me.
Roger the Car Salesman: Well, a Ferrari would certainly change that.
Memphis: Perhaps, Mmmm. But, you know, this is the one. Yes, yes yes... I saw three of these parked outside the local Starbucks this morning, which tells me only one thing. There's too many self-Indulgent wieners in this city with too much bloody money! Now, if I was driving a 1967 275 GTB four-cam...
Roger the Car Salesman: You would not be a self-indulgent wiener, sir... You'd be a connoisseur.
Memphis: Precisely. Champagne would fall from the heavens. Doors would open. Velvet ropes would part.

What a non-story. Go walk round London for 5 minute and watch the rest of the supercar owners with no front plates parking illegally. Only reason this story is there is because he's a footballer

i often wondered if the 458 italia was excempt from having a front plate

iirc ferrari went directly to the UK government to make it legal for an enzo not to wear a front plate lol.

I can say 100% that if I could afford a 458, I would take the numberplate fines every day if I had to.

The problem is that it isnt just a fine - if you get caught enough times (2 or 3) then they can withdraw the plate and Q plate your car.

Where exactly would a front number plate fit on the car without disrupting airflow etc and be legal, if you read the law regarding plate application on a vehicle it would be damn near impossible. When Ferrari design a car they dont first think of the laws regarding number plates in the UK, I would imagine it is the last thing on their mind.

A two line plate in the middle perhaps.

At a legal maximum of 70mph, disrupting a little airflow shouldn't be a problem.

They normally have the plate like this:

Seems to work, only obscures a tiny ammount of the top of the airflow.

I ran with no front plate at all on the RX7. Not once did the plod bother me about it *shrugs*

yeah but you dont have the papparazi taking photos of you wherever you go and publishing them in the media :p

Gibbo got away with it with his mustang as well. Even talked to some cops at a shell station i seem to remember and they were too busy asking about the car to say anything about the plate.

I thought it didn't count as parked if you're still in the car?
Either way, he's hardly going to get ticketed as he could drive off as soon as a warden pops up.

What is this swns site anyway?
I've noticed people posting from it on here recently. It seems to have a load of random articles with scant details and absolutely no sources.
