Not usually a great fan of our Frank on the TV, but have read a couple of his articles in the Times.

From todays paper I give you the following: -

'I really like (...Susan Boyle) because she combines her talent with an unattractive exterior.
She is a challenge in that respect. If you want her beauty you must pass through her ugliness — you must pick the gold coin from the urinal'.

Jedward:
'There have always been pop stars who can sing, but it’s a bit like being a strong swimmer on a pedalo —
it might come in handy but it’s no real advantage.'

Growing to like Frank very much.

I've always found his down to earth style very funny, it matches my sense of humour.

Have you watched Baddiel and Skinner unplanned before? You might enjoy it, though beware the jokes aren't as thick and fast as you might expect.

His stand up is better than I expected as well, I saw a gig he done in Birmingham from yonks ago, just brilliant.

I feel the same, He used to annoy me and I'd turn over the TV or flick the page as soon as I saw him.

But these days it's like he doesn't try so hard to be funny and it makes him less irritating and more amusing if anything. :)

I used to like his TV show, but then he seemed to just get unstable celebs on and tried his best to make them cry. Was much better when it was a comedy show.

Can't say I find them funny, don't really like the guy.

That's exactly how I felt about him too. It's just that I've read a few articles he's written recently. He's writing some thought provoking stuff that also includes some great lines.

In my opinion they should replace Paul Merton with Frank Skinner on HIGNFY. While you're at it replace Ian Hislop as well, don't care who, as long as its not Paul Merton.
