Frankie Boyle - A very dark man...

Love him on Mock the week, but thought the show was dull. Its just a string of jokes with no link between them and as mentioned most of the jokes we've heard plenty of times before. He's not a great standup performer, and prefer him in short bursts like on mock the week.

Saw the Mcyntire DVD and the appolo show and that was extremely funny.

it's awesome, has his apollo appearance on it too as an extra feature :) (no repeated jokes :) )

I got it - it really is great. I think they perform better with a smaller auidence.

slightly off topic but how the **** did that gimp andy parsons get a job on mock the week? i can't stand the ****. his jokes are terrible and the delivery.....?? i guess he has to speak like that for his target audience (idiots) to be able to understand him???:mad:

I can't stand him. He is not funny. Then again, I have laughed at one or two of his jokes.

The McIntyre dvd was excellent. I keep a copy of it in my man drawer.

The man drawer segment was unbelievably funny and creepily accurate. I literally had everything he listed tucked away in my man drawer.

Man drawer is a classic. Every bloke has got a man drawer filled with batteries, a torch and radiator keys, and how a comedian hasn't picked up on this before now is beyond me (unless they have and I missed it).

I love how its now been given a name! I LOVE MY MAN DRAWER.

I thought Frankie was great until I got the DVD, it's mostly MTW all over again. In MTW you think he says those nasty things off the cuff but it's just the same old stuff over & over again......funny the 1st few times though lol.

Izzard is one crazy funny guy.

Michael McIntyre is brilliant. :D Me, Mum and brother have all watched his DVD and loved it. The man drawer and how he goes back to it later is simply comedy brilliance.

Hugh Dennis (the smarmy looking skinny one) is amazing :)
Seen him in Outnumbered? Was told to watch it by a mate and loved it instantly. Hugh Dennis is fantastic as the Dad in Outnumbered. :)
