I see him as a poor imitation of Jerry Sadowitz. All of the stuff Boyle is doing now, Sadowitz was doing 20 years ago. And Sadowitz is far superior.

Can be quite funny. the swaring and abuse does contribute to the comedy but som of it does not. I can see why people are protesting but i say its just comedy

I think he's funny. Some of the sketches on Tramadol nights were awful though.

He is much funnier as a stand up comedian or a satirist, than as a sketch writer / actor.

Having read his book I think most of the sketches he came up with years and years ago when he was taking all sorts of drugs and finally somebody is letting him put them on the screen. Would explain why they are whacky to say the least.
