Frankie's in trouble again..

...and in trouble again. (Figure it's best to just reuse this thread than make a new one.)

This time it's for using the 'n' and 'p' words to refer to certain racial groups and now C4 is under even more pressure than the whole Jordan thing. Thoughts?

what did he say this time?

i stopped watching half way through the second episode - too crude for me and not funny - its like watching chubby brown or bernard manning - there is more to humour than just saying more and more extreme things, anybody can do that.
he had a really quick wit and topical satirical slant on mock the week, but now he is just weak.

Got to agree with you aardvark. He's much funnier when he focus on wit, not shock. (Also, I found him atrocious live a couple years back.) But I did love him on MTW.

The quote I think was that he said the Ministry of Defense had a "n****r" bombing department.

I think his popularity on Mock the Week maybe, just maybe, went to his head :)

Read his auto-biography. This sketch-show is inspired from his drug-fuelled past before he became mainstream. He's wanted to do it all along. He got given the opportunity, so he took it. I don't think ego really comes into it on the level you think it has.
