FREE BitFenix Spectre Fans - Big Silence Test

I am using some pretty quiet fans so I think this would be a good opportunity to try them out for that aspect and the airflow of course!

Currently have:

2 x Akasa AK-FN058 Apache Black Super Silent 120mm (1 intake on front, the other ejecting air out the back over my H50)
2 x Akasa AK-191-BL Blue Ultra Quiet 120mm (1 intake on the side of my case, one intake on the roof of my case)


What I would require:

5 x BitFenix Spectre Blue or Plain 120mm fans.

That's one more than I'm currently using so that I can test the ability of the Spectre fan in push/pull mode over a H50.

I have 3 different fans; 120mm Antec Tri-Cool, 120mm Nexus Basic Real Silent, and a 140mm Fractal Design.

I could use up to 4x120mm fans + 1x140mm fan. :) :) :)



(Also, I have a good camera+lens+editing skills to make the product look good. :D)
 
Hi there, I'd love to enter. I currently have my trusty Antec 300 as a case.

The sets of fans I have to test the Spectres against are:

Xilence Red Wing 4x120mm fans
Antec Tricool 1x120mm and 1x140mm fans
Bitfenix Spectre PRO White LEDs 4x120mm + 1x140mm

I have two 120s at the front, one 120 on the side as intake, one 120 in the back and a 140 on the top as exhaust.

I have these all hooked up to a Zalman ZM-FC1 PLUS to test these at a number of different speeds (I have RPM feedback on them), and I can do an objective sound test as the case is a metre away from me (dont have one of them fancy decibelometer wotsits but I could improvise with my microphone). The CPU fan is currently one of my Xilence fans.

It would be nice to get:
5 120 Spectres (4 for case, 1 for CPU)
1 140 Spectre

I don't mind LEDs or not, and if it does have LEDs just make it a matching set, I'm open to ideas (as long as its not white like my Spectre PROs). I can take CPU temps with the different fans in my Tuniq Tower on my Q6600.

Hopefully I can get some good pics up of how they look on the case too.

Currently using 2 of your Spectre Pro 120's on my rad along with a Akasa Viper making up the third. Also running 4 corsair stock fans in the case.

So would run 3 of your new fans on the rad and compare temps/noise against the old ones!

Would actually like it to be quieter than it is now! So would be looking at

2x140mm fans (or 2 120mm instead)
+
5x120mm fans
+
a 230mm fan if you do them in the Spectre range, using a Spectre pro one at the moment but it makes an annoying noise.

Not fussy about the colour at all as long as they're matching. Green or white would be the preferred LED colour though.

I currently have two quiet Gelid Silent 12 fans on my Thermaltake Frio, and also three stock Zalman fans on my Z9+ case - these stock fans are pretty quiet on low speed, but audible on high with the inbuilt fan controller.

All the above fans are 120mm, so if I was selected I would require 5 direct replacement 120mm fans wither plain black or plain black with white LED.

Great to see another Bit Fenix give away/test on this forum! :D

Currently I am using 4 fractal 140mm fans and one 120mm Akasa viper in my fractal arc midi case.

Would like 4 x all plain black 140mm and one plain black 120mm fan.

What I currently have:
2x 140mm Spectre pro's
2x 120mm Arctic cooling F12's (REALLY NOISY....apart from delta's :p)
2x 120mm White LED Corsair fans
1x 120mm Black Corsair fan

What I want to change to
Ill keep the spectre pro's, although this would be a good comparison.
5x White or blue (preferably white) 120mm spectre's

C'mon....let me win one competition :p

I have an Antec Twelve Hundred case with stock fans that i would like to change. I also have two Akasa Apaches on my Noctua NH-U12P SE2. I'm interested in making my system quieter as i find it loud with the top fan off (which i rarely turn on) and all other fans on minimum/low

currently using the stock corsair 600t fans(2 white led 200mm and 1 120mm), the front giving out a real whine :(

It would be awesome to test five 120 blue led Spectres to replace the five fans I have in my Antec p182.

Currently I am using,
3 Yate Loon SH120 as case fans.

2 Scythe Gentle Typhoons 1800 on a 120 radiator.
 
3 Akasa Ambers atm, ancient and one died :( Replaced it with a generic 80mm fan lol
1 Coolermaster Blue LED that came with god knows what lol

I'd love to try 5 120mm LED White fans, theyre gonna be challenged as the ambers have been my fave fans for quite a while.
