No point selling it for a fiver on eBay, may as well give it away for free!

Exactly the same functions as the official Canon one except...free ;)
 
You are very generous mrk! I really wouldn't mind it I don't own any remote triggering device and have a 400D, it would be great for bulb exposures. Feel abit bad tho, I really wouldn't mind paying you a fiver or at least the postage costs...

I thought it would work on the 40D but indeed it doesn't! but thankfully the 2sec timer mode on the 40D is perfect for my needs plus it is usable for bracketed exposures for HDR and MLU so won't need a cable anymore :D
