Free/cheap DTP wanted!

Hi, had a look through the sticky thread here but didn't see anything relevant.

The company I work for is looking at creating a set of styled case studies for print/PDF form. At the moment we're only running MS Office and Photoshop CS3 so I'm looking for something with decent image/text handling.

Any recomendations?

You could maybe look at InDesign, an old copy of CS3 would do.

Or Serif software goes pretty cheap.

Interesting. Googling CS3 turns up results from £16 :| Not sure what the catch is yet!

What about Scribus?

Never used it, but it's free and pretty powerful from what I hear.
