Hi all

I want some simple GPS software that will work with my XDA IQ and my BT GPS device. All i want is a compass type thing with satellite info (strength, speed etc..). Ive googled and everything i try says:

"the installation file is not intended for this device"

Which is ****ing me off!

Any ideas? Cheers!

Just googled the XDA IQ - You need the Smartphone version of GPSDash (and other software) rather than the PocketPC versions.

After a little messing about i finally got most of the apps working. Firstly i needed smartphone versions of the software despite some saying WM5 compatible, it still needed the smartphone version (funny i thought WM5 was supposed to remove all this confusion!). Then i needed an 'out' com port 7 as well as the 'incoming' com 6. Now GPS Dash works and even better than that Virtual Earth Mobile now works which uses Windows Live Maps to provide sat images of where you are! Bit like google earth mobile - but i still cant get that working.
