All burning software does data blu ray burning its video blu ray burning i need most burning software don't offer video I got Power director with my LG it burns blu ray video, it's OK but the free IMG Burn buns chapters as well, its better than Nero 9 as well , ImgBurn is brilliant try it,

ImgBurn is a lightweight CD / DVD / HD DVD / Blu-ray burning application that everyone should have in their toolkit!

I imagine a lot of people on here use ImgBurn allready but worth mentioning for those that dont! :)

Got to say, I do like ImgBurn's random quotes when you start it up! lol my fav so far being "C-3PO wasn't gay, he was British!"

I like ImgBurn but I wouldn't say it's any better than any others for my uses.

Alcohol 120% was what I used to use to burn files

IMGburn is great,

What i dont get is how imgburn is 2mb but Nero is 2GB
How the hell does a DVD authoring program need 2gb's.

Ashampoo Burning Studio FREE edition is also very good and a complete package. It's a version out of the latest which isn't free but it does support everything inc BluRay burning.

I think this one comes with all sort of other extra software like media players etc. which imo is just a waste of space.

NeroBurning is only like 50mb (it used to be when I used it few years ago).

The Nero suite is over 500MB.

You can't get Burning Rom on it's own any more.

makes me wonder whether you can extract the burning rom setup file from the main nero installer like you can with the itunes installer using IZarc or something

Maybe but why bother when shampoo does the same thing and is free when Nero isn't!

DVDflick is designed to do one thing only, burn movie files as a DVD video - it is not "> Nero" or any other burning suite for that matter.

yea but it tells you to get imgburn ^^ :p

and most people who use nero dont use it for simply burning random files to a disc they use it for converting video which nero isnt all that great at.

some versions are notorious for having audio out of sync

I remember when nero was nice and tight but now it wishes to take over the world like many once upon a time good software even norton had some good tools in the dos days.

ps.Not saying norton is bad just not my cup of tea :)
