Free postage to forum members?

As people have already said i'm sure this was ment to just troll and up his post count, Seems to have been turned into a fully spammed thread now :)
 
The free postage for forum members works really well if you ask me. It encourages people to get involved in the community. There are a lot of people on here which can be be of great help to the less experienced system builder. Slowly these less experienced guys build up their knowledge with what they learn from others and before you know it are able to offer good advice. Anything that encourages this can't be a bad thing.

Over the years iv purchased components for 3 builds plus a load of upgrades on top of that from ocuk. There are numerous reasons why I use them and the free delivery can sometimes factor into it especially for a low cost item. I really can't fault the service, everything I have ordered using next day delivery has arrived the next day and in the time slot provided. How many companys give you a delivery time slot? I personally don't know of many. I would much rather know to be home for a couple of hours then have to wait in all day for the delivery driver to arrive.
 
I don't get this thread at all, i shop at ocuk whether i save £10 or get free postage or whatever they have excellent returns and rma service,authorised dealers for a lot of companies can get gr8 deal that competitors can't get close too. why would i pay £5 less for a g-card from say scam.co.uk when i know if it goes wrong i'll spend the next 6 months trying to chase it up. i shop here regardless of price because most competitors don't know squat about what they are selling and i also 9 times out of 10 pay for saturday delivery why because i love OCUK's service,dedication and gr8 offers that can be had.

Your basically saying this. I spend £10 in tesco every week i don't have a clubcard but yesterday some guy in front of me had £10 of vouchers simply for scanning a card every time he shops, would you kick up a fuss as well, Well it's called loyalty and shop preference.

Think you need to grow up a bit TBH

The point being? OcUk is a BUSINESS. They probably could offer 'free' postage to everybody, but it will be factored into the ongoing pricing.

Most of their customers are not forum users as well.

If I go to buy something I check the price here and then check the price elsewhere and factor in postage costs if there are any. I go, as a matter of principle to the cheapest place, and I think you will find the majority of posters on this forum will be doing likewise. :)

This i have no loyalty to shops, the one that is cheapest gets my money. If its only a few quid though i have preferences due to delivery times, customer support etc.

this thread is full of spam

everybody has made their feelings known towards you and you have achieved nothing but negative responses.

I dont think I can bring myself to read another one of your tear filled posts.

here are the forum rules, please familiarise yourself with them on your break...
