Back from my birthday present to myself.
Yamaha tenere experience in Welsh Wales, ohhh my it was awsome, we started out with a briefing and some tips etc then some quarry riding on the tenere 650 then some technical hill climbing and descents, I soon kicked the instructor off his super tenere 1200 and had that for the rest of the day, what a machine we spent the rest of the day on a forestry commission forest on slate paths and up and down tricky paths.
They run enduro days with wr 250s as well and we couldn't get on those routes as the tenere is too big and not built for them but we just had a nice technical day with plenty of fast air and jumps, got more confident as the day went on and ended up quite dramatically exiting shale corners sideways with my foot down dabbing to keep upright and picking nice lines up and down hillclimbs with good speed
I am shattered now especially after the 5 hour drive back to Sussex, it seems like every muscle has been abused
