Hey

Anyone know if its possible to have Freesat outside of the UK, im aware that you need a UK postal code for this, but could i use my parents post code as they still live in the UK?

TIA

No problem, I did when I was in Italy, just buy the viewing card against a UK address, and take it away with you. Be careful on the dish size needed as you get further away from the UK.

Yeah i know about the dish sizes.

What do you mean Viewing Card? i thought it was only a set top box i needed that supports the Freesat channels.

OK, maybe as I had older box, I got a Freestat card from Sky, do the new boxes have it built in ? Either way, it will be fine. Get a big dish to allow for bad weather conditions.
