French Toast

You could always try it stuffed:

Mix the bananas together with the honey and the pecan nuts. Divide the mixture equally between 2 slices of the bread, leaving a slight space along the edges of the bread. Top with the other 2 slices to make 2 sandwiches.

Heat a frying pan over a moderate heat. Crack the eggs into a bowl and beat in the milk. Dip both sides of the banana sandwiches in the egg mixture. Melt the butter in the frying pan. Fry each sandwich gently for 3 to 4 minutes, turning halfway through cooking, until nicely coloured and warmed through.

Dust with the icing sugar, cut in half and serve with the Greek-style natural yoghurt

Sorry to revive. But I tested out the egg in the hole thing...

Right,

2 Slices of decent white bread.
1 Egg
Grated cheese of your choice (I used red leicester)
Oil

Cut hole in one slice of bread, fry it in a bit of oil and crack the egg into the hole gently.
Keep the bread/egg moving around but make sure the yolk stays put in the middle.
Heat some oil up a little and spoon it over the yolk/runny bit on the top.
Flip it over skillfully :p
Wait till it's fried and turn over.
Fry 2nd piece of bread, stick cheese between egg slice and top slice and fry it till it's melted.

+ Sauce.

Didn't taste bad at all :D

It's EGGY BREAD you gayer.

beak eggs in bowl
cut medium white sliced bread into halves (diagonally)
frying pan on hob, add a knob of butter
put bread in egg, get completely covered in egg
drip excess egg off bread
put bread in pan, turn over after a while
stack bread in warm oven to keep warm whilst you cook the rest.

Yeap, just done this a few minutes ago.

You need really high heat. And an open window.

Yep agreed with the above!

Mines takes the form of this technique :p

2xLarge Eggs
Pepper
Salt
Milk (Whisk Contents)
2-3 Slices of Plain Bread Quartered
Dip bits in one by one, cover in the mixture....allow excess to drip off
Put in Pan with Vegetable Oil

Ideal!

Was gonna make some today so I'm just going to do it now! :D

Sweet
6 eggs
1/2 Large Sliced white Loaf
A Tea Spoon of Sugar/syrup/jam/honey

Whisk eggs & sweetening agent
dunk bread into mix
fry in liberally butterd fryingpan

Savory
6 eggs
1/2 Large Sliced Tiger Loaf
Sprinkle of salt
pinch of paprika
Two mill turns of Black Pepper
1 slice of ham

Cut the ham into small chunks and put into bowl break the eggs over the ham, add spices & whisk.
Dunk tiger bread into mix.
Fry in a Liberally buttered Pan

I made it recently with mashed banana between two pieces of bread. So prepare eggs as normal (added a bit of cinamon), mash banana and spread on one piece, push another piece on top, wack it in the egg, fry as normal, cut in half and drizzle with maple syrup. The banana works really well.
