I did a fresh install of XP Home last nite, everything whent fine even started to download some of the update`s and then stopped for the nite.

When i got up this morning to finnish the update`s,everytime i tryed to open a program i got "bad image" will i need to reinstall xp?

Thanks.

If you've updated XP, then the culprit could possibly be IE7. A friend at work came in this morning to find his PC hosed by an IE7 install over the weekend. It seems it isn't as stable as it could be :(

Here is what come`s up.

The application or DLL C:\WINDOWS\system32\CLBCATQ.DLL is not a valid windows image please check this againist your installation diskette.

Ram is ok as ive ran ORTHOS for over 2 hours with no errors.

Not installed IE7.

I think i`ll do another fresh install of XP as ive not put much of my stuff on.

Thanks for the replys :)

something is very wrong, sounds like ram problems (may just be a corrupt xp install)

-edit, 8800gtx! you mofo :)
