Seriously why would anybody leave the keys, including house keys etc with people washing your car, and then completely leave its sight and leave all that stuff in a boot.

hmmmm.......... Insurance report is going to be EPIC

Techincally he wouldn't have to claim on his insurance, if he left the car in the charge of the car wash then it's thier responsibility, if they dished out the keys then he can pursue them and they can either pay up or claim on the PL insurance.

Amazing how big a deal some people on here make of these situations. No different to leaving it with the mechanics to get an MOT or service or the like.
