Friends WoW Account Hacked

My boyfriend has a casual guild with some of his friends and last week one of them got hacked, first time it has happened to any of them since the game was released. He lost all his gold and gear, and because everyone in the guild is an officer with full bank access the whole guild bank has gone too.

Can anyone give me an idea of how likely it is that they get the contents of their guild bank back and how long it will take? It's under investigation at the moment but apparently a lot of people were hacked on the same day, so Blizzard aren't saying much at the moment. He has access to it at least since email addresses can't be changed now.

The whole guild have ordered authenticators now, so hopefully it can't happen again. Is there anything else they can do to protect their accounts?

they will get all the guild bank cash and items back, our GM had his account hacked and got it all back within 3 days.

other than the authenticator security wise, regularly scan machine for viruses, spyware, malware etc, copy paste your pass word from a document file that is not obviously named ( I use the macro keys on my keyboard to do this) and dont click any links in emails that ask you to login.
