frozen screen crash, faulty hardware?

i keep getting random pc crashes with the screen just freezing and nothing responding.

Ive just finished installing a brand new copy of xp home and still getting this.
So I'm guessing it might be hardware failure?

Any ideas on what?

If it's the system in your sig, you could have an unstable overclock try running Prime to check for stability and mem-test.

everythings at stock with the cpu at 42C and graphics at 45C

mem test was fine.

Alos check your memory is getting the correct voltages

Might be worth checking out your hard drives and checking the event log in case there's something being reported there.
