So I've orded this:

Fujifilm FinePix F550 Digital Camera - Black (16MP, 15x Optical Zoom) 3-inch LCD £145

I'm not "into" photography and i didnt want to lugg around a bulky SLR.
I've bought it to get me out and about this summer.
So I opted for a "point and shoot" job.

that said, some of the specs seemed reasonable
and i just wanted some opinions on it and are fujifilm known
to be decent etc?

Product Features

16 megapixel EXR-CMOS sensor
15x optical zoom
24mm wide-angle lens
3 inch, hi-res LCD screen
Full 1080p HD movie recording
RAW shooting
GPS tracking system

Technical Details:

The one thing i do want to know is what is all this ISO numbers meen. for example ISO 100 shooting mode?
the lower the number the better or the higher?

cheers.

ISO refers to the sensitivity of the sensor. A lower number means less sensitive, but less noise and a better picture. A higher ISO is used when there is low light, so the sensor becomes more sensitive to light. You will get more noise though.

Looks like a pretty good camera for the price though! :)
