Hi,
I'm new in water cooling and I have just acquired second hand EK-FC980 GTX Strix full length water block with back plate. The block is slightly warped. If you put it on the flat surface there is a gap of 1mm at each end. If I put something flat on top there's a bow that gives 1mm gap in the center. Is it something to worry about or would it be ok paired with back plate (back plate is perfectly flat). See pictures attached:

Nickel part of water block seems to be flat, its the acetal wings that are out. Is it safe to put it on on my GTX? Maybe screw down the nickel block and leave the wings flying, just let the back plate hold it rigid? Or not use it because it will go worse with time and acetal will eventually separate from nickel creating gap/leak?
Anybody any experience? I saw some acrylic full blocks that were screwed down only by nickel part and the sides were loose. I'm just afraid that the warp will go worse.
