Fun things to do with email address of a hacker?

Someone took over one of my online accounts, won't say which, and changed the email and password - I assume the company was breached at some point as I doubt they guessed my password

I have their email address.

Any ideas on interesting things I can do with their address for some revenge? Or best just to let it go as the address was maybe just a 'burner' anyway?

Chances are the email address is just another innocent person compromised who hasn't realised yet :s

Fair enough, wouldn't really want to do anything then in the risk of it being some innocent person.

Surely though they wouldn't benefit by changing the account email to an email address of another innocent party?

I thought they change it to a random account of their own, then sell the account on the dark web or something? Subscription service.
