The Clio in this ad seems quite good value, it's a sought after model at a very cheap price.

Funny that another ad was up a little before this one where he hadn't blanked out the number plates, and they just happen to match the ones on this Clio Trophy :)

Never tracked he says :P Although I guess it might not have been put on track, but just seems funny :)

i cant see the clio being tracked?
probably nothing tbh, promo pics :p

Yeah I know there's nothing to show it on track, but still a little suss. Or could be totally legit and someone will get a cheap trophy :)

Just odd how the guy pulled the first ad, which included the company email address as well as the plates on the car.

Sorry i just dont see how a weedy little 192bhp clio can stack up against a BMW M car with a massive 5.0L V10.

Not even like its gonna handle better.....Or even the same size or even aimed at the same type of people

Read the article - it was excellent and addressed all your points.

if you were to buy a clio v6, you defo wouldnt want a mk1, mk2 everytime...an extra 30bhp and much better handling.

whilst the v6 has the wow factor, i think id rather have the trophy tbh. for out of the box handling the clio 182 trophy is regarded as being one best for a front wheel drive car.

Not much better handling! Softer setup so the mk2 gives you a warning before you stack it, the mk1 no warning you just go into that hedge, but up to the limit nowt in it. The extra 25bhp isn't that noticible either.

As has been said, read the article. It was fantastic. Essentially, one guy driving the BMW as hard as he could, finding it too big to drive hard, too powerful to nail out of corners, and too geared too high to stretch its legs properly on a normal road was unable to get away from the other guy in a 182 Clio, who was having a massive laugh, hooning around, throwing it into the bends and booting it out of them.
