Ok guys this just proves that most parents know diddly about comps i shall begin :p

Ok during this hot spell of weather i had been very active over one weekend and had drunk far too much alcohol and not enough water to keep me hydrated, come the tuesday i was really suffering after a busy monday at work. On the tuesday i woke up feeling fine walked into town and started getting dots infront of my eyes (the kind where you look into the sun) i started to feel really out of it and light headed. I had to go to work that afternoon and went home and drove to work, upon arriving at work i was immediately told to go lie down which i gladly did. My manager came up and saw me and told me to get my parents to come pick me up as it's not safe for me to stay at work or drive home, i phoned my dad who came and picked me up. Upon getting home i immediately went to my bedroom and lied down, my dad kept asking me if i was drunk or on drugs, i replied no several times although i could see he didn't believe me.

He looked onto my shelf and saw a syringe of thermal paste, not knowing what it was he started shouting at me saying "if your not on drugs, then what the **** is this?" i replied "you mean that tube of thermal paste with MICROSOFT written on the side of it? i didn't even know microsoft made drugs these days" reallising his mistake he appologised and left me alone lol! For reference i'm a fitness instructor and personal trainer as if i would be on drugs or drunk at work!

a little laugh for you all

lol at your parents picking you up from work when you can't hack it then worrying if you've been on drugs.

Reminds me of when my mum freaked out on me when she saw a round, white "pill" in my room. She shouted at me constantly for around twenty minutes in tears saying how ashamed she was of me.

Problem was it was a smint :p

The look on her face after I told her :D

Smints are triangular?

What has this got to do with parents knowing diddly about comps?
If you're talking about the paste then probably 99.999% of computer owners of all ages wouldn't know what it was.

had to take 2 days off for heat stroke and exhasustion last week too. :o

Some parents haven't got a clue about computers. Which means sometimes you can blag expensive unnecessary upgrades as critical.

So your " Dumb " parent was so concerned he came to pick you up from work.

Doesn't sound like he's the dumb one ?

Wait till you're a parent.

And a dehydrated fitness instructor , put that top of your CV.

Cheers,

Mark
