FX55 & ATI X1950 XT-X, a good match?

Go for the X1900 XT-X tbh, the his version.

Saves money, same core and mem only needs to be overclocked by 25-50mhz to get the same performance, and many XT-Xs can do well over 900mhz mem speed which will equal whatever the G-DDR4 can do.

:)

Oops, I read the OP as X1900XT-X in the first place. :o Getting to be a bad habit.

What Concorde said is absolutely right, the X1900XT/XT-X are miles better value for money.

It will still be slightly slower cos the mem wont be able to clock to 2000.

Plus im trying to keep things nice and cool in my case, and sometimes I leave my pc on for a few days. so I dont really want to overclock it if poss.

Its strange Ive overclocked my cpu and the memory and the temps are not any different,, cpu is 45 - 50 load and 32 -38 idel, and its in a wavemaster case too.. :D

??

G-DDR 4 has looser timings, so much so that the 50mhz increase on a X1900 makes up for it, and then it has atleast 25mhz left.

a His X1900XT or XT-X is much more worth it.

Was going to get the x1950,, then wouldnt have to overclock it at all, and my case will be nice and cool

Erm, heatoutput is the same, performance is the same when the mem is clocked. Even if it isn't then its close to its performance. The IceQ X1900 is cool and quiet, I have one.

TBH m8, its a waste of money.

How about this one, cos thats the fastest out of the x1900s, and its got silent heatpipes?
