G.Skill Ares 16GB, does it work on the Z77 MB?

Hi

Does this RAM work in the new Z77 boards?

it does not, I'm hoping they forgot to mention it?

It will, but slightly expensive.

Have you looked at any other ram?

All current memory will work with Z77

Yes the Ares works fine.

The Z77 were literally just released (came out today) so it is understandable that the page hasn't been updated yet.

The memory requirements for Z77 boards are the same as Z68 and P67 boards (which that RAM certainly works with) so it should work fine in a Z77 board.

As the motherboards have only been launched today many memory manufacturers don't update their sites fairly quickly, but the Z77 has the same criteria as p67 & Z68 boards.
