GA-MA790FX-DQ6 + Phenom 9850 help needed

Hi,

I just brought this new setup.

GA-MA790FX-DQ6 mobo
Phenom 9850 CPU
OCZ Reaper Ram 2x2GB

And it will not boot to post, i just read on the reviews page of OC for the motherboard that i have to upgrade the bios to F4 because it does not support my CPU.

My question is: Is this true and has anybody else had this problem as i`ve done a search and cannot find any other info.

The board says it supports Phenom processors so why would you need to update bios?
I guess just update bios and see what happens.

Yeah that is the most annoying thing, it says it supports it but i have just put a 4400+ CPU and its booted straight up.
