GA MA790X-UD4 not posting problem

Hi,
My mate has a problem ;>
he was updating his Audio card drivers...win7 wanted a reboot, so he rebooted...since then PC is 'dead' ... Bios not posting..nothing!!
fans are running etc..he checked everything he could...does not have extra PSU to check if it is dead but as all fans start my guess is that it is ok.
He cleared CMOS and still nothing...any ideas ??
as i ran out of options for him

take everything you don't need out. leave only one HDD, one GPU and one memory stick in

I would reseat gfx card, and cpu everything.

GPU was taken out and putted back...he didnt touch cpu...

yes...it all happen when pc rebooted...nothing was touched before...
my gues is that mobo died but there is always small chance it hasnt

he tried to clear cmos with jumper...nothing...

afraid not

I advised him to buy PSU first ( he wanted new one anyway )
If it is not it, then he might wait for his brother to buy his PC at end of the month as he is buying AM3 mobo as well and try to check what is wrong...

*UPDATE*
He bought new PSU....same story...he managed to dig out an old GPU and it worked....
So time to buy new card...
