Hi all. Had this machine for nearly 2 years. Lately it has started to power on with no video output from either the on board or a GTX970.

The odd time when it does post, you hear a beep and then it boots up as normal. This however, is now about once every hundred boots.

Have unplugged all non essential peripherals, clearer the CMOS, replaced the battery. At a total loss with it now though.

    Cheers for any help

You did a long CMOS clear? Battery left out for 30 minutes?

Also are you on the latest MB BIOS?

Try without the GPU installed after long CMOS clear,if it boots I would flash to latest BIOS using qflash, then try with the GPU installed

Sadly it made no difference after having it out for over an hour
