As title really.

Stonechip on edge of CTR windscreen last Wednesday = massive crack Thursday. New windscreen fitted Tueday.

Today - nasty stonechip in driver's line of sight on Suzuki Swift Sport screen = another replacement windscreen.

Hopefully I get the same Autoglass bloke as Tuesday - he was quick and did a good job.

It's not like my wife and I do many miles. I questioned whether she was too close to the car in front, but insists she wasn't. Never mind!

In a combined 13 years of driving between me and the wife, we've never had to have a replacement windscreen fitted. Two in a week - what are the chances?!!

If she was that close the stones would be hitting your leading edge/bumper.

I got a new windscreen in the other day, nice and see-through. lol.

I did 2 windscreens in a week once on the same car. First one went after a stone hit it and a crack formed, new one went the day after it was fitted when half a house brick shot out of the wheels of a lorry on a duel carriageway! Such is life but most annoying!

Half a hose brick? I bet you 'did' more than your windscreen when that happened!

I wish my bloomin windscreen would crack, its terrible scratched all over but otherwise intact :(

Some helpful person put a massive scratch on the passsenger side of my CTR windscreen about a year ago. I was hoping it would get mullered by a stone and has, so I'm happy. It's just damn annoying that I've only had the Swift for 3 months and it has a nice clear screen as it is.

I bet! It's bad enough when a smallish stone hits, which inevitably results in an evasive but likely futile ducking and minorly browned pants!

Never had a windscreen thankfully. I was close to getting the CTR one done, they're like flipping cheese and the wipers no matter how new just scratch them to hell. Looked terrible for a 60k car that's for sure

My MX5 screen is great and that's 15 year old and thinner JDM y0 glass. Well, it looks very original to me anyway.
