I have recently purchased a http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-101-GW&groupid=701&catid=56&subcat=927 from overclockers but have a problem with the fans. The actual card has 2 fans but each run at different speeds.
The first runs at 30% and is quiet as a mouse while the second runs at a constant 100% and makes enough noise to wake the dead. I have tried rivatuner to try and slow the fan down but it will only slow the first fan to 25%. The second fan will still be at 100%. Infact rivatuner/speedfan and exportool will only work on the first fan whether I slow it or speed it up to 100%.
The two fans are connected with four wires to the pcb. I take it two (Red/Black) are power wires and the others fan control. Are there any suggestions as to solve my noise problem or should I just contact OC and ask for a RMA?
Any help on slowing the second fan down to the same speed as the first would be very helpful.
