Does anyone have an idea how long Gainward guarantee their products for, namely the 7900GTX's. Seeing as how this series of cards in general, appear to be tripping up left right and centre, I'm curious as to know what their std warranty period is for.

I have checked the website, but must be going blind, as can't seem to find a reference to how long the warranty period is for. Many thanks in advance, to anyone that can answer the above.

I believe it is standard three years. HOWEVER, Gainward will only address warranty issues if you purchased the card direct from their online store. If it was purchased from a retailer, their new warranty terms stipulate that it is the retailer's responsibility to make good on any problems.

Utter ***p.

TBH I havn't bought Fear yet - but to give you an idea, with all settings @ max, and on 2560x1600, the GTX's don't seem to struggle at all on Far Cry.

I guess that if Fear is a more demanding game, you can either play at a more sensible res, or knock some of the eye candy off.

Don't ever let anyone try and tell you that 30" is to big. It's bloody awesome! :D
