Hi there

Is there a performance hit with this card running it in PCI express x 8 as opposed to x16? I'm thinking of getting a card and have an old DFI NF4 Lan Party MB and I fitted an Evercool VC-RE VGA cooler on the northbridge and am not sure if the card has clearence If use the x16 PCI express slot.

I've read that it's not a large difference at all, but don't take that as gospel. If there is any way to get it in that 16x slot I'd recommend it though.
 
Think so from the various reviews. Not so much for Geforce 7 and Radeon X1000 series but the 8 series Geforce does utilise the full PCI-E 1.0 bandwidth.
