Gallas gone AWOL

Is it a sign that the rolling ad on that site was an Arsenal O2 one? Hope so 
Nah straight swap deals never happen.
I've been hearing all sorts of rumours though, we asked for money and Gallas for Cole, Chelsea turned it down and instead offered us 4 players (one of which was SWP) and money

I think we are holding out for Gallas and money, which I would be delighted with, Gallas is one of the best CBs in the world and him and Toure at CB would be orgasmic.
In the end though I reckon we might be getting money and SWP, which I wouldn't be over the moon with because I don't rate SWP at all really. Plus it'd probably mean goodbye to Reyes.

Gallas wants to move abroad. As much as I'd like to sign Gallas (I've been hoping for a couple of years now, it was close the summer just before RA took over) I simply can't see him wanting to come to Arsenal. If he wanted to be playing in London, he'd be better off at Chelsea as they can give him more money and more success.
Chelsea will also be playing hardball because they won't want to directly strengthen a rival club. Lets face it, most of the players they will be offering won't be that good, the ones we need (Cech, Terry, Gallas) will be off limits. They will probably end up paying top dollar for Cole towards the end of the transfer window and hope that Arsenal don't have much time to bring in a decent replacement.

Time for Arsene to take a gamble and buy a couple of defenders anyway in the hope that we can get big money for Cole at the end of the transfer window then i guess.HangTime said:
