Can anybody help please.

I'm trying to open STEAM so I can download, and it crashes on startup. It just keeps saying Connecting to STEAM account, but it crashes.

I tried deleting everything except steamapps + steam.exe, and it gave no results.

Any ideas?

Copying steamapps to a HDD atm.
