Game recommendations for my new monitor

Before accusations start, I'm not willy waving, I know my monitor is far from the best around, but I just ordered the Dell 24" which is on special offer here at OcUK

Now I'm looking at getting a new game anyway, I'm wondering what good game/games could make the best out of this monitor?

For reference I already have-

Oblivion
C&C3
SupCom
WoW
Vanguard
CS:S
BF2

Not bothered what genre I go for, I just want something big and prettiful to christen the new monitor with. Also my X1900XT (overclocked quite a long way) needs to be able to cope at that high res, I'm guessing it'll be ok?

if your card can cope with oblivion + texture mods @ high details + AA then you aint really going to get anything more punishing :eek:

I think Call of Duty 2 looks great in widescreen on max detail.

I would agree with MooSey-UK, Oblivion plus the mods. My mate has the BenQ 24 inch monitor and it looks good with Oblivion fired up.

i know the x1900xt is a decent card, but can it really run oblivion maxed out at 1900x1200 at all?

Might need to turn the settings and AA down a bit at that res in Oblivion - even the x1950xtx takes a helluva beating with ultra settings, never mind the x1900xt.
