Gamer RIP from the MOHAA-SH days

I met Winter, I was in NER-JNR and then NER-UK. Absolute top bloke, use to make me cry with laughter. He was a big bloke and seemed very much full of life :(

That's really sad, thanks for letting us know, glad I saw this thread :/
 
What a terrible thing to have happened. RIP. I remember those days well, was in =TC= for a few years playing MOHAA, as well as a brief stint in VS-UK I think.

If I can I'll forward this thread to a chap who spoke to Winter not too long ago, I believe he might have some contact with his family - might not mean much in the grand scheme of things, but it just goes to show (even here) how many people are connected one way or another. Circles within circles within circles.
If it means anything, I'm sure his friends and family will appreciate it.

Some people seem to go a bit weird if you keep in touch after a lot of years playing the same game and posting on the same forums, its like as soon as that ends they don't want to know you anymore. Have a few added to facebook but its like having a few zombies added as they rarely if ever get in touch, if i try and get in touch with them via the fb chat they "suddenly" have to go somewhere and will "be back later", later meaning literally months later.

1 guy in paticular i messaged him a few months on FB and he's still to respond to it even though i see him online on it every other day, im awaiting the usual bs of somehow "missing" the message. Dunno why i bother sometimes. Some people are just ignorant ***** it seems. :(

RIP, think I may remember him but there were so many people called Winters back then due to Band of Brothers I can't be certain.

What was your name in =TC=?

Was called strikeanywhere, va. I do seem to recall an NER clan though although I didn't really play that much spearhead.
 
RIP Winters.

The name sounds extremely familiar as I used to browse away occassionally from the servers I used to play [RAF] mainly with Liam and his father. Played that game for years. Best online FPS I ever played.

Reminds of the time this lass died during the years I played, she got into a car accident from what I remember. RampantRabbit I believe. It had Rabbit in the name I remember that :(

Haste [UK] was my online name.
 
Very sad news about Winter he was a popular member within NERUK and EBA. For those of you that knew him, and I do recognise many of you, im sure you enjoyedd playing both against and with Winter and quite possibly looked forward to one of his trademarked outbursts :-)

Regardless of whether you knew Winter or not, i'm sure that you'll agree that the world is lessened at his passing and join me in passing our sympathies to his family and close friends.

I know the name winter well...played against NER many times. My old clans were RDH.BdD, D.D, DRM and currently AA...but AA are playing world of tanks mostly now....still playing sh as well....still 2 leagues going....10 years on......allways a sad day to hear news like this. :(
