Games cancelled!

Looks like the Arsenal game is off too due to the heavy snowfall...just checked on my skysports football on the iphone and its saying its postponed.

Now was the perfect time to play Chelsea, now when we play them they'll have a fully fit Lampard, Alex back in defence, no doubt coming off countless wins whereas we'll probably have no fit defence and a list as long as your arm of other injuries :mad:

Yeah Chelsea are very lucky :( We should have Scholes back whenever it is rescheduled though.

Wigan P-P Aston Villa

Arsenal P-P Stoke

Birmingham P-P Newcastle

Chelsea P-P Manchester United

Blackpool P-P Tottenham
 
Man City v Everton should be on for Monday. They have plenty of time to clear the snow.

btw, just noticed the Blackpool/Man U game has been rescheduled for Jan 25. Three days after the Birmingham City game.

We very likely have one of those Wimbledon court protector type thing, ie a slightly curved cover to protect the grass from the snow, and so it looks higher in the middle. In reality us here in west london got, a surprising amount of snow but, not a particularly insane amount. The pitch would be fine for the game today, unless of course it was snowing as badly as it was earlier and visibility would be pretty bad. It will be traveling, wet/icy around the stadium, general wussy reasons to not play the game. They'll pull that cover off and the under soil heated pitch will be in top notch condition to be honest.

Dunno whats going on, games going on in the north, games down south all being called off.
 
To be fair, you can't expect thousands of fans to make their way through these kinds of conditions.

So why Wigans called off I don't know :D
 
We had hospitality tickets to the Liverpool game. It’s going to be a trek and a half if they reschedule for a week day evening. I'd been looking forward to it all week, gutted.
 
Wow, another one of my favourite names in football is playing today - Ruud Boffin. It's no Heath Streak or Eden Hazard, but it's close!
 
Can't understand why the chelsea game was cancelled. There will only be some slush on the streets tomorrow and the pitch should be fine. Seems they were worried some fans might slip over or something. :/ :(

you have to make an early call when fans have to travel really. If it was Arsenal vs Chelsea or any london club we wouldn't have had a cancellation yet.
 
Anyone watching the Blackburn - West Ham game?

Got to be the worst game of football ever! West Ham 4 shots off target, Blackburn, 1 on and 2 off target!
