Just installed business32 and for gaming I'm having a rubbish time.

I downloaded the latest gfx drivers and made an attempt on the asus site to get drivers there. As the CD I used in xp doesn't work in vista it seems.
However I still have 2 'unknown devices', and I have no idea what they are. I can't seem to find any drivers to fix it. If I try to get vista to search the cd it doesn't find anything to help.

Needless to say this is a real nightmare as I quite like vista, and it's really fast, just not for games. I can see half a wasted day getting it running - only to install xp again :(

Does anyone have any ideas or tips?
Would be really appreciated :)

Spec:

Athlon 64 3000+ (1.8ghz)

2gb ram
xfx geforce 7800 gtx 256

get graphics drivers from nvidia too, not from asus

your cpu is a bit slow for vista too, you migh want to consider upgrading it (which socket is it?) dual core cpu's are pretty cheap now!

Ah yeah sorry I did mean I got the gfx drivers from nvidia, I also just downloaded 163.71 beta's - I might try them next.

I tried to get my mobo stuff from asus, but I will now try the nvidia site for the nforce ones. According to the mobo CD - I should download the one called "nForce4 SLI X16 AMD"?
It's been ages since I did anything like this :o And the thought of upgrading again is too much! lol Thanks for the tips, I'll be back if they don't help much..

Ok so I installed:
15.01_nforce_winvista_32bit_international

and I tried the beta gfx drivers
163.71_forceware_winvista_32bit_english_beta

And still no joy :( 10-15fps in TF2, as apposed to the 50/60 odd? that I got with xp. It's a real shame, but looks like my system is either not ready, or is too old.
