Games that will run on this?

Hi.

I'm currently using my old PC as I won't have the parts to finish my new PC for another 2 weeks.

Trying to find some games that will run on this but not having any luck. Anybody know of any older games that will run on this system and keep me occupied for 2 weeks? Getting bored of Plants vs Zombies now

Athlon XP 2600+
1.2 GB RAM
GeForce 7800GS (256MB)

Running on old CRT too at max of 1280x1024.

half life 2 would run on that, maybe mid settings, but the CPU might struggle.

Thanks for the responses, will give HL2 a shot and see how it runs.

I have many older games that are on gog but in physical form. Unfortunately, I have shipped them off to the US which is where I'm moving to... my new PC parts are there with my fiancée. :/

Do you reckon BF:Heroes would run on this system?

Play some of these golden oldies, pretty sure that they will run fine on the PC you stated.

doom 3, farcry, aliens vs predator 2, delta force black hawk down and any of the hitman games would be my suggestions, they would all run fine on that machine
