Here's the deal. I'm after some single player games that are going to stuck vast amounts of hours out of my life. I haven't game to a hardcore level for 5 odd years, unless of course you count my on again, off again love hate relationship with Mutiplayer Roleplay Grand Theft Auto San Andres servers. I miss those days experimenting with my first home built PC being absolutely gripped by a great story and even greater gaming content for hours on end.
My attempts to get back into gaming have been Far Cry 2, which was Awful. Fallout 3 which was good, but despite ticking all of the correct boxes was something that I never really stuck with. And Left 4 Dead which is relatively fun, but too much mindless action for my tastes.
Looking at recently released titles, they all seem to be a bit shallow in the way of all graphics not much content/story. Personally I'm thinking about touring all of the great games I managed to miss 'back in the day'. Half Life 2 sticks out like a sore thumb, but I was wondering if there was much else that could be suggested?
To give you an idea of the games I like, my favourite PC games of all time are:
Mafia
Vampire The masquerade bloodlines
Hitman Blood Money
Varied, I know!
Any suggestions much appreciated
Thanks!
Josh
