Games you're playing, and games...

Replaying through bioshock now loved it years ago it's quite hard going back to the old school controls everything now shooter wise seems to follow the same controller layout but clicking r3 to aim in is hard to remember. Usually just hipsprey and die a lot now

Working through the SP part of BF6 - feels like COD tbh, though they seem to have attempted to add a squad ala Bad Company; though with none of the humour or banter.

It's a lot better than SP on BF4, but I can't help but laugh when your character can just ghost through members of your team - it's supposedly a 'triple A' title

I remember playing Bioshock for the first time many, many years ago at the opening level and thought this is rubbish, dropped it and thought nothing of it, played it again on a whim a few years back and ended up playing all 3 back to back, one of my best gaming experiences ever!

Started Alan wake II this week as it went on playstation plus, had the service for two years and barely played anything so trying to make an effort to play something that I was interested in but never purchased before it runs out. So far I would say its...interesting, it's not a genre I usually play so quite a few things to try and wrap my head around

I cracked and bought it too. Just at the end of Gibraltar. Great so far. I adjusted the controller settings to match something I saw on instagram and its taken a bit of getting used to but getting there. Not dabbled in the MP yet.

Funny that it's barely getting a mention on here yet the PC forum thread is 169 pages.

That's the one thing I need to sort - the aiming.

I turned off all auto aim/aim assist, but having spent nearly 500 hours on Arma Reforger, the near COD-like speed of MP, has meant I've struggled with a decent controller setup - opted for BF3 inputs but not sure if they do anything tbh.

Put a few hours into MP with some old mates from BF1942/BF2 era play, and had a right blast - often finishing in the top 10 somehow

I used a setting from thepatmanstudios on Insta. Its a lot quicker and snappier than Im used to but I think I'll get used to it. Planning on easing my way into MP otherwise I'll get annihilated, remove the disk and never play it again!

Just had a quick Google of 'best settings' and pretty much all I have checked list putting the aim assist on 100.... that feels pointless to me, I want to control the aiming accuracy; otherwise it's just going to be a fancy point and click game :D

Playing the SP campaign for BF6 - think I'm in the midst of a bug on the "No Sleep" mission.... It's almost like the enemy and friendly AI aren't in sync with where I am, I constantly keep going into areas where the enemy are just milling around, and then suddenly react and often appear behind me - whilst two of my team seem to be somewhere near the start.

Just got to a bit where I was climbing through a destroyed train cart, and my one following team mate, then when through the action of pulling the doors open - which were already open, and I'd already dived through

Just started Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origins...this is such an odd looking game. The graphics are both good and terrible at the same time. It seems like fun so far though so I can't complain.

Happy to say NG4 is a return to form after that rubbish that was 3. Only an hour or so in but it’s great so far, combat even better than before with some good additional extras. It’s very quick, your man moves so fast between traversing and slashing although he does sound very like Steve Bushemi (been rewatching Sopranos recently). Well worth a go on gamepass and with a strange twist of timing my sub ended today and I’ve been auto billed for another month. Will cancel when I’m through with this. A fitting end to my gamepass life I feel.

I started Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origins which is quite possibly the most disgustingly bad looking game ever lol. It's also pretty average. Very weird game honestly. I've ended up sticking on easy so that I can just blitz through it.

Spent the afternoon on Atomfall, just been exploring for as far as a battery in the central processing unit and one in Charlie.
Tried to explore into the medical bit but got attacked by about 5 blue things.
