OK, I used to have a set of gaming Turtle Beach X1's that I used with my XBOX and absolutely LOVED them! Then few months back I sold up my XBOX setup along with headset/games etc. and bought a PS3, all down to peer pressure i must add.
I then starting looking for a equivalent high spec headset for the PS3, and found that Turtle beach were just about to release a new set of P21 ( http://www.turtlebeach.com/products/efp21/home.aspx ) for the PS3, which also can be used for PC gaming, which is awesome.
One problem though, such is the great sound quality (and rather premium price) I would really like to use them with my MP3 player when Im out and about, but cannot as they are USB and dont have a detachable mic.
After a lot more research, I found out about the Sharkoon X-Tatic 5.1 Digital Gaming Headset ( http://www.sharkoon.com/html/produkte/headsets/x-tatic_digital/index_en.html?id=2 ) which by the looks of it do everything I want, but are almost double the price!
All I want to know is, does anyone have any experience with either of these headsets? or are there any other headsets out there that would suit what I need?
