I'm after some ideas of what I should be looking at to replace my fiances laptop - an aging Asus X550C. I'd love to be able to build a desktop system for my use as well, but we simply don't have the space at the moment so it has to be a Laptop. Budgeting around the £800 mark.
Its main use is to play Sims 3 & 4 - it's currently so poor that she's only recently realised that on good systems you can see an entire neighborhood whilst on a house, rather than the blue must she has!
I've been eyeing up the Asus Nitro 5 17" laptop - but could maybe sacrifice to a 15" screen for greater performance/a better screen.
